How to apply the paw balm?

Take a little bit of balm from the tin and warm it up in your hands. Apply the balm to the paw pads and between your dog's toes. Wipe off any excess balm and leave to absorb for a few minutes.

How often should you use paw balm?

Some owners use the paw balm daily, others only for emergencies. Both are fine, just look at your dog's needs.

Have your dog's paw pads cracked? You could apply the leg balm several times a day.

Tips!

Does your dog find it annoying when you touch his paws? It can then be useful to start lightly massaging the paw pads a few days before applying the balm, 10-20 second is sufficient. You could give your dog a treat at the end to create a positive association with touching his/her paws. 

If you are going to use paw balm for the first time, it is best to do this before going for a walk. Your dog can then get rid of the excess paw balm during the walk.

Did your dog lick the paw balm? No problem, the paw balm only contains natural ingredients. Just make sure that this does not happen excessively, after all, it is for the paws and not for the stomach.
