FAQ Leather Dog Toys

How does leather behave when exposed to moisture or saliva? Can the toy get wet?

Yes, of course. Your dog can chew on our toys without any worries. Saliva cannot damage them. If it gets wet, just let it air dry.

Is this leather dog toy also suitable for puppies?

Absolutely! Our leather dog toys are soft enough for puppy teeth. However, never leave your four-legged friend unsupervised with toys!

Puppies love to chew on all sorts of things. It's how they explore their surroundings, relieve stress, and it's simply comforting during teething. Our toys can help your little furry friend with that.

What happens if the leather gets damaged? How do you know when the toy should be thrown away?

Leather is a natural material that can wear out over time, especially with intensive use. Once the leather is clearly torn, significantly softened, or the coconut fiber filling is visible, the toy should be discarded. This ensures that your dog does not ingest fibers or pieces of leather. By regularly checking the toy, you can detect wear and tear early and ensure your dog's safety.

What dog toys should I choose? What dog toys are suitable?

That depends entirely on the age, size, and character of your dog. In principle, good dog toys should be safe, robust, and free from harmful substances, and stimulate both the body and mind of your four-legged friend.

While throwing and tug toys provide shared action, chew toys can strengthen teeth and have a calming effect. Intelligence toys, on the other hand, train concentration and agility.

Variety is important: this keeps your dog motivated and balanced.
