What is vegetable-tanned leather?
For all our leather products, we use Italian vegetable-tanned leather. This process uses natural tannins from different plants, such as branches, leaves and bark, to colour the leather. As a result, the colours are more intense and only get more beautiful with time. The tanning process takes one to three months, and thanks to the softer method, vegetable-tanned leather usually has a longer lifespan than chrome-tanned leather.
