Vegetable tanned leather
Italian vegetable-tanned leather is used for all Cooper & Quint leather products. Vegetable-tanned leather uses natural tannins to colour the leather. Like from different plants, such as branches, leaves, bark or fruits. The colours are more intense and only get more beautiful with time. The tanning process takes about one to three months. Due to the softer process, the lifespan of vegetable-tanned leather is on average higher than chromium-tanned leather.
