Meet James (aka Mister James Dog)
Hi, we are Rick and Tamara, James' besties .
For years we have been in love with Australian Labradoodles. We regularly sent each other cute pictures of adorable Doodle puppies, but getting one ourselves was still quite exciting. A dog is guaranteed to have a big impact on your life and we really wanted to be ready for that. 1, 5 years ago we decided to go for it and registered with Albertina Doodles .
The wait was so rewarding, on August 19, 2020 James was born. We knew right from the first pictures of the puppies from the litter; that's James... Very special! The nicest, coolest, sweetest, funniest and most handsome dog, but I'm sure every owner says that;) The best moment so far is also easy. That is definitely the moment we held him for the first time, love at first sight! Probably very cliché, but it's true..
Choosing an Australian Labradoodle
An Australian Labradoodle was chosen mainly because of the character. They are known as very intelligent, sweet and energetic dogs. They are cheerful, social and intuitive. In addition, Rick & Tamara also think they are really beautiful dogs, in terms of appearance, build and the way they move. And not entirely unimportant, Tamara is asthmatic and allergic to most dogs, so quite a few breeds were also eliminated. Although the love for this doodle was so great that no allergy could have stopped them.

If you've looked at Instagram recently, you can't miss it. The account of Mister James Hond. Rick & Tamara were looking for an original and cool name. Many names passed by, but there wasn't one name that they both liked. So a lot of brainstorming... Until James came along, both enthusiastic!! They immediately thought it would be very funny to make it the Instagram name Mister James Hond, with a nod to the cool womanizer James Bond. In retrospect, a bull's eye with James' macho character.
The Instagram account was actually set up more as an account for friends and family. Tamara loves taking pictures but didn't think it was necessary to constantly spam everyone via WhatsApp with snaps of James. In addition, Instagram is also a really fun tool if you are looking for interaction with other dog friends. Everyone can decide for themselves whether they want to follow the photo overload . Some do so very enthusiastically but there are also friends who think it is ridiculous, such a dog account. Recognizable ;)?

Favorite exhaust spot
Definitely the beach! As James even says “to spot beautiful beach babes…”
Endless running, playing with other dogs, digging big holes and occasionally a dip in the water. We usually go to Bloemendaal or Zandvoort.
But as long as James can go out with his besties in the car, it's always a party. "ROAD TRIP!!", it almost always means a nice off-leash area or visiting friends who give him lots of attention...
James's favorite game
James says he is showered with cuddles, training, games and tasty rewards. “Yummy in my tummy” is not for nothing one of Mister James Dog’s favorite sayings. But the best game is “Pakkertje.” James then runs around with a toy in his mouth. Tamara or Rick shouts very loudly “I’m going to get you.” Then he starts sprinting, wagging his tail, jumps on the couch and runs around the room like crazy. Every now and then he sits still for a while to be petted and then it starts all over again.
