Meet Bandit

Hi!

I am Bandit, a real surf dog! Named after the favorite kite of my kite surfing owners the f-one Bandit. I am super eager to learn there is actually nothing you can't teach me. I am very human in many things. I am always up for a chat. I make various sounds to make clear what I want ;-). I am affectionate and like to lie in the strangest positions with my owners.

The choice for a Viszla

In her search for a dog, Marit was looking for a dog that would not only be beautiful but also tireless. And with Bandit, she completely succeeded. Bandit loves nothing more than going with her owners for long walks, mountain biking and on the water. In addition, she is a real Vizsla. Vizslas are known for being eager to learn. Marit does mantrailing (mantrailing is teaching the dog to follow a human trail) and dummy training together with Bandit. Everything to keep busy and get rid of energy. In addition, the choice for a Viszla was also because they are real buddies. Bandit and Marit are real buddies. Bandit behaves like a real Velcro dog and loves to cuddle!

Nice areas to go to

Bandit lives with her owners on Terschelling and Terschelling is actually one big walking area. It is the ideal place for a dog. They are allowed to run loose everywhere. Forest, beach and dunes are within reach and you can find Bandit there every day. Every spot has its own preferences, but if Bandit can choose, the heath is the favorite. Whether it is the tickling of the heath under her belly or something else, the heath is inextricably linked to the zoomies.

But the other nature reserves are also her favorites. She goes completely wild on the beach. Nothing or nobody stands in her way so Bandit races across the beach at full speed. She also loves the water in the summer. She can really enjoy the forest, all the smells of the wildlife there and playing with pine cones.

Fun games in nature

The best game is retrieving, preferably in the form of a pine cone. If you throw it, Bandit will happily run after it and of course she will happily bring it back, hoping that it will be thrown again. Marit can do Bandit no greater pleasure than kicking a pine cone and keeping it up for an entire walk.

Given her fantastic detective skills, search games are also a lot of fun. And the great thing is, she also finds everything and everyone!

Bandit or Bandiet?

Bandit lives up to her name. As a little Viszla, she was quickly bored and being alone was boring. Whether it's a table or a new sofa, Bandit likes to sink her teeth into new furniture. So if you ever visit Marit, know that the sheepskins over the sofa not only look very nice, but also hide the traces of a gnawed sofa.

Fortunately, he is not just a crook. Bandit is a real addition and brings many moments of happiness. Marit's wish came true and with Bandit she not only found a super sweet dog but also a water rat. Swimming at sunset, on the surfboard, Bandit likes to join in everything.
